Time is a odd creature during these times; this is for sure. It feels like time both acts slow and fast at times. We are approaching the end of January this coming weekend ~ with a Leo ♌️ full moon 🌕 this Thursday then the moon will be in Virgo ♍️ by Saturday ~ along with the first mercury retrograde cycle of 2021 beginning on Saturday.
For the year of 2021, the mercury retrograde cycles, respectively, are in air signs ~ Aquarius ♒️, Gemini ♊️, then Libra ♎️. This first cycle of mercury retrograde unfolds from January 30 – February 20, 2021 (that includes the actual mercury retrograde cycle then post-shadow retrograde cycle). The other two take place later in the year. I’ll share more on this later.
We are in the very last dregs of winter; the sun is starting to stay out a bit longer each day when dusk comes. Next week is the first week of February 2021. In old Irish/Gaelic culture, it is when Imbolc happens. The significance of Imbolc is related to the very beginning of spring. Also, another “holiday” is close to when Imbolc is and that is Candlemas.
More thoughts to come soon.
